New Arrivals & Forthcoming Mysteries

October brings movement on several fronts at Theion: two highly anticipated books will arrive, another is now being prepared for print, and our current deluxe editions are approaching the end of their availability.

The Society of Diana Arrives this Friday

We are very pleased to share that the Fine Hardcover Edition of Caroline Tully’s The Society of Diana: Witch-flight and the Mysteries of the Night Queen is due to arrive at Theion this Friday.

We will begin inspecting, processing, and packing all preordered copies immediately, with shipments commencing as soon as the books are ready to leave us.

For those who have not yet ordered, the Fine Hardcover Edition remains available, as does a limited number of the Auric Edition. These are strictly limited and will not recur in this particular form once all copies have been spoken for.

Preorder From Mithra to Mithras by Peter Mark Adam

We are also preparing our next major publication for print: Peter Mark Adams’ From Mithra to Mithras: The Birth of a Roman Mystery Cult.

This is the second volume in Adams’ exploration of the Mithraic Mysteries, following Ritual and Epiphany in the Mysteries of Mithras, and continues his investigation into one of the ancient world’s most enigmatic initiatory traditions.

Subscriber preorders will open on Wednesday, October 14, 5pm CET, ahead of the public release.

We will share full details of the book and its editions then. For now, we invite you to mark the date.

The Rooted Flame — Final Deluxe Copies

Frater Acher’s The Rooted Flame, the first title to emerge from our selective collaboration with Paralibrum Press, continues to find its readers and collectors.

Only 13 copies of the Deluxe Edition now remain. These copies are already in stock and available for immediate dispatch.

The Fine Hardcover Edition is expected to arrive in approximately two weeks, and we will keep readers informed as soon as the books reach us and fulfilment begins.

Further Conversations with David Beth

Since our last newsletter, David Beth has continued a series of conversations around The Black Pilgrimage and the wider currents of thought and practice that inform the book. The first part of his talk at the Liminal Currents podcast has just been released, with the second part to follow soon.

There has also been a new review of the Black Pilgrimage by Leni Andersson been released at Paralibrum, read it here: All the World a Daemon

Last but not least, David will be appearing on The Occult Rejects Podcast later this month, as well as on the Arcanum Podcast with Ike Baker. We will share those conversations through our usual channels once they become available and add the latest interviews to the book’s page, where readers can find them together with the previously published conversations.
